The Florida Orchestra is recognized as Tampa Bay’s leading performing arts institution, the largest professional symphony orchestra in Florida, and one of the most vibrant and innovative orchestras in America. Through extraordinary musical performances, the orchestra inspires the people of Florida with exciting musical programs. This concert will feature a commissioned work by Michael Ippolito to commemorate the orchestra’s 50th anniversary. Program also includes Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Dvorak: Symphony No. 9 “From the New World.”
